The Quality Migrant Admission Scheme is a point-based entrant scheme which allows skilled persons to enter Hong Kong for work. In order to enter the country you have to satisfy a few primary prerequisites. This scheme entitles a maximum of 1000 applicants to enter Hong Kong. You are allowed to bring your spouse and unmarried dependent children under the age of 18 to Hong Kong under the Dependent Visa scheme. Eligibility Criteria to Qualify for a QMAS visa

To be eligible for this visa program, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Your Age: Your age should be between 18 – 50 years
  • Educational Qualification: A first-class Bachelors or Masters degree from a recognized University
  • Work Experience: work experience of at least 2 years
  • Language Proficiency: The IELTS/TOEFL exam (with basic level) is required to prove language proficiency
  • Family Background: Immediate family member accompanying or living in Hong Kong
  • Financial requirement: You have to meet all the financial requirements of the immigration process
  • Points based test: You must score minimum points under General Points Based Test

Documents Required for HK-QMAS Visa:

To be qualified to apply, you must have the following documents:

  • An application form either in English or Chinese
  • A photocopy of the passport’s personal selection page
  • A photocopy of the Republic of China’s identity card (if any, if applicable)
  • Duly filled visa application form with all other supporting documents
  • A photocopy of personal annual income (Bank statements or statements, showing the current market value of your investment)
  • Language test result (TOEFL or IELTS) to prove your efficiency in English or Chinese
  • A photocopy of academic qualifications from the educational institution, such as graduation certificates or academic records (and the technical qualifications)
  • A photocopy of the proof of your job experience, such as your employment letter or contract, is required along with Bank Statement, Salary slips etc.
  • Documents that are in regional language should be translated to English or Chinese
